Elliot went to bed at 7:30.
he usually wakes up a couple of times before i go to bed, but last night he didn't.
in fact, he didn't wake up until 4:30 to nurse!
he went back to sleep a bit after 5 and slept until nearly 8!!! he's usually up by 7.
holy crap! whoever this boy is that has replaced my son... well he can stay!!!!!
this was his BEST SLEEP EVER!!!!!
and of course i went to bed around midnight, so didn't get to take advantage of most of it!

Elliot signed MILK a while back, but then he started using it to mean WANT in general. then he sort of stopped signing. while we were at my mom's, i kept signing LIGHT and FAN with him, and now he keeps one arm up in the air most of the time waving at objects, usually making the LIGHT sign.
Last night, he signed BOOK for the first time. it was after his bath, just before Jay read him a story. it was so cute! this morning, i laid him down to change his diaper and usually give him a book, but before i did, he signed for it!!
Now we're working on MONKEY and HIPPO and will be reinforcing MOMMY DADDY CAT WATER BANANA and EAT - those are the other signs we've been doing on an intermittent basis.
