Had a doctor's appointment today. She checked to see if anything was happening, and I'm pleased to say I'm 50% effaced, although I haven't started to dilate yet. I think it's common for dilation to start once the cervix is 80% effaced (or "thinned" and getting soft)... but often you can start labour without being effaced at all, which can lead to a much longer and harder labour!
Yay, my body is working properly!!!! Hopefully this easy pregnancy is setting a trend towards an easy delivery, too!
