I love my cat. She's my first baby. Even though she's cranky and hates everyone but me, even though she has drawn Elliot's blood twice, even though she's dumb enough to have eaten not 1 but 2 sewing needles 7 years ago that are still lodged somewhere in her, even though we spent $1000 in vet bills the month before our wedding...
Ugh. Had to take her back to the vet this morning as she's been puking and getting bony again. They said she appears to be fine, but drew blood and urine samples for testing. And they want to put her under and do x-rays on her teeth as one is fractured.
Paid a lovely $428.83 for her treatment today, less than a week before Christmas.
And we have to take the other cat, Jay's baby, in as well in the new year. Gonna get pricey for us out-of-work folks!!! but what can we do... they're family.
